Announcements for the Week of October 23rd

~NEXT WEEK AT YAG, OCTOBER 30TH:  HALLOWEEN COSTUME PARTY!!!!!!!  PLEASE WEAR A COSTUME!   We will be having a ton of fun with good food, fun and games, music and col stuff!  Please come and bring a friend if you like!  

~The Hutchie Bears softball team will be playing this coming Sunday, 10/28 at 9:30 AM.  If you think that's too early, they are also playing in a PLAY OFF game around 11AM.  I will let you know the time for sure when we get it.  But please go out and support them as they end their season!!  

~One of these Saturdays we will be going on a Thrift Store Tour! We will leave early on Saturday morning and head out to Pennsylvania and try to hit a few thrift stores out there and then head home later that day/night. We will keep you posted as to the date!   ~On December 22nd there will be a morning Christmas Party at Juan Rivera's house (also Matt Pucci, Jared Murray, Matt Littlehale and Josh Valerio's house). It will take place at 9AM sharp. Come in your PJ's for a gift exchange, a reading of the Christmas Story and breakfast!

~There are two prayer groups that meet during the week. One meets Wednesday mornings at 6:30AM at the Church. The other meets at 4PM on Sundays before the service in room three. This room is right off of the room we worship in.

~On November 16th, at 6:30PM there will be a fundraising Show at the Trinity Episcopal Church (where we meet for YAG, just upstairs).  The funds will go to help support Matt Littlehale's Mission trip to Russia, and ORB's own Mission Trip to the Dominican Republic.   The Ring Out is playing and other bands are to be determined.  The cost will be 10$.

~There is a Show/Costume Party at the Saint this Thursday, October 25th .  The Ring Out is playing.  Starts at 7PM.  

~This Friday is Office Day in Scranton, PA. If you like the show The Office and have tons of free time on Friday and want to go try to find where the cast will be in Scranton, feel free to go.  Take a friend with you!

~In celebration of their daughter's (Annie's) adoption finalization, the Lootsma's are having cake at their house around 4PM tomorrow (10/25).  If you want to stop by and offer congrats that's fine.

Announcements for the Week of October 16th

~The Hutchie Bears lost this past Sunday, but they hope to win this Sunday. Their softball game is at 11AM at the Count Basie fields behind Spirits liquors on newman Springs Road in Red Bank. Please go out and support them.

~Saturday, October 27th the New York Red Bulls Soccer team will be playing. If interested in going talk to Tom Sasso. Tickets are 25$.

~We would like to organize a trip to Shanghai Jazz in Madison, NJ. We would like to try to do this in the month of November. This is a Jazz club that serves really good Chinese food. It would cost about 40$ for dinner and the show, maybe less. If interested, talk to Pete Andrews.

Announcements for the Week of October 9th

~Our Fall Retreat will take place this weekend!  October 12 -14 at Tuscarora Retreat Center in PA. The cost is $90 per person.  Also, please remember to bring: sleeping bag, pillow, towel, clothes (some that you don't mind getting a bit grubby), toiletries, bible, paper, pen and maybe some extra spending money! Please bring your money to pay for the retreat, if you have not done so, on Friday.  We will be leaving from Pete and Sandi's house at 6PM. Contact Sandi for directions to their house: sandiandrews@gmail.com  or call 908-902-6721.  ~If you can, try to bring an empty and cleaned out plastic gallon jug or an empty and cleaned out plastic detergent jug for a game that we will be playing on the retreat!  ~Remember to bring your Crazy Bones on the retreat too!

Announcements for the Week of October 2nd
