Saturday, July 22 (and every Saturday) at 11AM there will be softball
behind Red Bank regional High School on Harding Road in Little Silver.

On Friday, July 28th at 8pm Jughandle and Illision will be playing
at the Saint in Asbury Park (21 and over). Contact Jae Perez for

Jamar Taylor will be preaching this coming Sunday July 30th at 10:30am
in the Meridian Ballroom at the Sheraton Hotel in Eatontown (Route
35). Please come out to the service to support him!

Announcements for the week of July 17th

July 20th at 6PM Sandi's small group will be meeting at the Atlantic Highlands Marina Pier 4 to go SAILING!!!  I will bring some stuff for dinner and drinks.  Just bring yourself and maybe a sweatshirt in case it is cold!!  Call me at 908-902-6721 or 732-671-0809 if the weather looks a little sketchy!

Sat. July 22nd : The Pilgrim Baptist Community Project that was scheduled to occur from 9am-5pm has been CANCELLED.  Another Community Service event will most likely be planned for August.  Stay tuned for details.

Saturday night July 22nd at 9:30 PM at the Brighton Bar (18 and over) in Long Branch The Ringout will be playing.

On Friday, July 28th  at 8 pm Jughandle and Illision will be playing at the Saint in Asbury Park (21 and over).  Contact Jae Perez for details.  He will have tickets at next weeks meeting (7/25).

Announcements for the week of July 10th

-The New Ancients CD is completed and in Pete's hot little hand, so if you pre-bought you can get what you paid for, and if you didn't pre-buy, you can just buy!  10$

-July 14th, Friday night at 8PM there will be a non-musical coffee
house in the ORB basement.  This a great event to bring a friend too.
Non-musical meaning, bring your poetry or creative writings, photos,
videos, art work, funny stories, karate moves, etc and enjoy a nice
mellow evening in the basement.

-THRIFT SHOP TOUR SATURDAY, JULY 15TH!!
Who wants to find a painting like the ones in the Orb Basement?!
Who wants to find an original Wild and Crazy Kids T shirt?!
Who wants to find a copy of the first edition of "The Hobbit" for 19 cents?! (Adam)
Who wants to find an impossible board game from the 70s?! (Dukes of Hazard's Ramblin' Beers)
Who wants to find the most disgusting lamp you've ever seen?! (Clown holding a dog, dog holding a light bulb)
WHO WANTS TO FIND SOME VINTAGE VINYL RECORDS?!
THEN COME ON THE THRIFT SHOP TOUR OF PA THIS SATURDAY!!!! JULY 15th
We are meeting at my house in Holmdel ( 61 Centerville Rd.) at 9AM and leaving from there.  This is an all-day sort of thing, but if you want to drive separately and come part of the day, that would be awesome too.  My car is already full, but I think there should be another car somewhere out there if you need a ride.
Come and find your "old school" ...plus we'll stop in Philly for cheese steaks for dinner.

-Saturday, July 15th, 11AM behind Red Bank Regional High School, there will be softball.  Bring a mitt and join the fun!  

-Saturday, July 22nd from 9AM to 5PM there will be a Community Service Event.  We will be helping the Pilgrim Baptist Church of Red Bank paint their community center.  Please talk to Emily Tang if you are interested!

-Friday, July 28th at 8PM at the Saint in Asbury Park, Jughandle and Illision will be playing.  The show is 21 and up. If you are 21 or up, go have a great time!!

-We have dates for our Fall Retreat!!!  October 13-15, 2006 at Streamside Conference Center in Pennsylvania.  Please save the dates!  

-The First Annual ORB Film Festival will most likely be held in October.  Get filming! There's still plenty of time to make a great little flick.  Please remember to make it kid friendly/appropriate.  The festival will be an all ages event.  

-The Paper Clip Game has lost some momentum.  But we have some new people joining the race, and we have extended the game to last about a year.  So come next June we should have some sweet stuff from all the awesome trading that will be happening soon.  So get trading people!  Lauren already has a karaoke machine!!  She is well on her way to that castle she always dreamed of.

Announcements for the week of July 3rd

Saturdays (including this Saturday July 8th) there is softball being
played at 11 AM in back of Red Bank Regional High School on Harding
Rd. in Little Silver. Come one, come all for a good time. Bring a
mitt!

Saturday, July 8th from 12PM -3PM the Lootsma's shower at the Senior
Andrews house. Please e-mail Sandi, if you haven't already, and are

trip/matinee viewing of a show. More details to come, but save the

If interested in helping out on Sunday nights with set up / break down
for worship, please either arrive early around 3PM for set up or stay
