Announcements for week of Dec. 18th
*****The ORB Christmas Eve service will be held at 2 PM in the upstairs
Episcopal Church where we normally meet for Sunday service....hope to
see you there!*****
*****Next Tuesday (12/26) the YAG group will meet in the basement at
the normal time 7:30 PM for a movie night! We know it's a busy time
for everyone, but in case you're looking for something to do, come to
the basement, we'll have snack foods and movies. :)
*****Jamar will be preaching on Sunday, January 21st at his church which
meets at the Sheraton Hotel on Route 35 in Eatontown at 10:30 AM...go check it
out!*****

Announcements for week of Dec. 11th
*****NEXT YAG MEETING on 12/19 (7:30pm) will be a WHITE ELEPHANT
CHRISTMAS PARTY! *****
So that means that EVERYONE should bring a wrapped, unmarked gift next
week! What is a White Elephant? How much do I have to spend? All
I'll say is a White Elephant is a gift exchange game that we play that has an
emphasis on 'stealing' gifts as opposed to swapping them…it's fun.
You don't have to spend anything on your gift or you can spend a
gazillion dollars…there are no limits. The gifts can be serious or a
gag….let's just say last year we had gifts wrapped inside an actual
AC unit as well as live specimens for gifts. So come with a gift….and
bring your friends! This is a great time to bring new people to ORB!
****There will be a FREE open mic coffeehouse this Friday, December 15
from 8pm- 12am at the Episcopal Church (that's the upstairs part of
ORB). Did I mention FREE? Please come and share your music, poetry,
spoken word, art…If you have any questions, please contact Matt
Littlehale (forbesfundraising@gmail.com)****

December 22. If you are interested, please meet in the Basement at
6:30pm. ORB will be joining in with a few other neighboring churches
to go caroling around Red Bank. ***
